libluajit-5.1-common software package provides Just in time compiler for Lua - common files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libluajit-5.1-common
libluajit-5.1-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libluajit-5.1-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libluajit-5.1-common *
You will get with libluajit-5.1-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
